Your Fourth Post

Take the same individual you argued for, and argue against them. Use at least 3 facts as to why they would NOT help build the community.

Also, pick one person that one of your classmates argued for, and tell us why you think they are a really good choice. Additionally, talk about how their presentation convinced you to vote for them (this could be in the 1st or 2nd round).

What do you think is the most important component of the Argumentation Theory? Why?

As always, 300 words!

Your loving PA,

Jake

Your Third Post

(The third blog must be at least 300 words for full credit) Better answers last time, please continue to give the blog thought!

I. What did you think of the presentation. How will you use it to your advantage?

II. What about the admissions process is news to you. What did you know before?

III. (Even if you're not planning on law school) How are you preparing for your future NOW? Trust me, time moves quick and you'll be looking at grad school applications soon, and its best to start preparing for the next step of your life sooner rather than later.

IV. What have you become involved with? Like Dean Gonzalez said, Law Schools look for students not only with good grades, but involvement as well. If you aren't involved, you probably should start looking around now, so you can have an officer role by the time you're a senior! Also, if not involved, what do you think you would like to do?

V. After hearing from Dean Gonzalez, is law school still for you?

VI. What is the most fun experience you've had at Mizzou so far? We've been here about half a semester, how are things going for you? What are your best memories?

VII. What is something you would like to see the FIG cover?

VIII. Are you planning on attending Pizza and Politics? What issue is of most concern to you right now in contemporary politics?

Your Second Post

(The second blog must be at least 300 words for full credit) After some of the cookie cutter answers last week, please give me what YOU think. Put some thought into it. You all are interested in Politics and Law; so my expectation is that you have something to say, and can back it up.

Watch this video: Global Warming Argument

I. What do you think? Is his argument valid? What is YOUR opinion?

II. Do you think the economy or the environment is more important? Should we invest now or risk having to invest more later? Make a logical argument! How do you think we can fix our sustainability problems, with support of the ENTIRE nation?

III. What do you think we will look back at in 50 years and think we could have done better (What do you think is our most wasteful endeavor)?

IV. What did you find most interesting about the lecture today? Was there any opinion that you had never thought of?

V. What are you willing to do to reduce your carbon footprint/be more sustainable?
